this is a wearable tale about embracing our quirks and going with the flower, following the energy that we're presented with.
the setting is a classic 1960s solitaire setting, but it had lost its original stone and it has the mind boggling quirk that the gold used to create this ring wasn't refined properly, so the entire ring is speckles with irregularities in color that will NOT be polished away.
rather than scrapping the setting, it's been paired with a new rutilated quartz stone — a stone that is spectacular precisely because of its visual complexity

in good reworked vintage condition
the gold was originally refined incorrectly, leaving lots of dark inclusions throughout the band and setting, which are a permanent feature of the ring, not possible to buff away
there are some fading file marks on the sides of the pipe cut style band where an attempt was made to puff/file off some of the darker speckles, which was a failed attempt
new rutilated quartz stone is in great condition and all of the prongs are secure
the overall look and feel of this ring is rustic and organic, not crisp and refined
This is a reworked vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
