Bergfabel, from the German for “mountain” and “folktale,” is a label that weaves the story of South Tyrol. Inspired by the idyllic landscapes and charming villages of his childhood, founder Klaus Plank and his partner Barbara create refined clothing from custom-made Japanese fabrics. Each Bergfabel garment comes with a lavender sachet picked from Plank’s mother’s garden.

Made with a comfortable elasticated waist with inner drawstring, the Matilde Skirt features two hip pockets concealed in the side seams and a dropped waist with generous pleating to add weightless volume.
